Church Attendance

Sunday morning is our opportunity to come together for communal worship, mutual encouragement, receive preaching from scripture, share in the sacraments of communion and baptism, and give of our finances. Our scriptures say not to neglect gathering together for communal worship (Hebrews 10:23-25). This is a good thing.

However, simply coming on Sunday morning is not enough... there is so much more of the good news to live out! Sundays are ONE part, an important part, of this, but our FULL CALLING extends into the rest of our lives as well.

In Isaiah we are told that God despises a multitude of "solemn assemblies" without "learning to do good, seeking justice, rescuing the oppressed, defending the orphan, and pleading for the widow" (Isaiah 1.11-17). Jesus reiterates this message in his interaction with the Pharisees throughout the gospels: "Woe to you Pharisees! You tithe... but neglect justice and the love of God... it is these you ought to have practiced, without neglecting the others" (Luke 11:42-44).

Join us on Sunday mornings.. be encouraged, hear the Word, worship, and then go out and BE THE CHURCH all week long!

Sunday Volunteering

Serving on Sunday mornings is also another part of belonging to a church community. It is not only a vital component but also a blessing for those who are willing to serve. Our three main avenues of ministry on Sunday mornings are: children/youth, worship and hospitality.
